Director of Clinical Services
AseraCare Home Health

As Director of Clinical Services, Phyllis is responsible for many of the day-to-day operations of clinical services for AseraCare Home Health. It is her responsibility to ensure that these operations run smoothly. From reviewing and processing orders for home health to helping educate staff, her days are always full.

Phyllis enjoys being able to contribute to the education of her staff regarding important issues such as compliance and Medicare regulations. She facilitates communication between the skilled nurse, medical doctors and payer sources.

For Phyllis, the most rewarding aspect of her job is her daily interaction with patients and coworkers. She is a strong patient advocate and believes that AseraCare is there to serve. It’s simple, really: “Treat the patients and staff the way you would like to be treated,” she explains. In addition, watching her staff progress and gain knowledge is also very gratifying.

Although her career with AseraCare has been rewarding in many ways, Phyllis especially appreciates the encouragement that employees receive to grow professionally by participating in company-funded continuing education.
